Members of the public are invited to attend a design overview of Savannah’s new Cultural Arts Center during a presentation at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 3, at the Cultural Affairs Department’s Black Box Theater, 9 W. Henry St.
The SPLOST-funded Cultural Arts Center will be built at Oglethorpe and Montgomery streets, and will be Savannah’s new focus for performing and visual arts. The April 3 presentation will be made by representatives from project architectural firm, Gunn Meyerhoff Shay Architects. A model of the new center will be available for viewing.
