[ARCHIVED] City experts to speak at State of Small Business Conference

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Date: April 21, 2014

City of Savannah leaders will be some of the featured speakers at Wednesday’s State of Small Business Conference. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.

Sponsored by SCORE and Wells Fargo, The State of Small Business will feature brief talks by Savannah Mayor Pro Tem Van Johnson, City Revenue Director Cindy Landolt, and City Development Services Liaison Cristy Lawrence, who will join about a dozen other experts to report on business and development trends in Savannah. The year 2013 saw record construction permit activity in Savannah, eclipsing even pre-recession peaks.

The event will be broadcast on Savannah Government Television, Comcast Channel 8, as well as available on the City’s Youtube Channel, www.youtube.com/cityofsavannah.
