[ARCHIVED] Citizens asked to participate in online tour services survey

For Immediate Release
Date: December 3, 2012

The Savannah Tourism Advisory Committee launched an online survey today to collect citizen feedback on how to improve the balance between tour services and quality of life issues in Savannah. The survey can be accessed at www.savannahga.gov/toursurvey from now until Dec. 10.

Throughout 2012 the Tourism Advisory Committee hosted a series of public work sessions to identify issues and develop recommendations to support tour services in Savannah while also addressing concerns raised by residents of the areas many tours operate. The online survey is a compliment to the TAC public meeting held on October 17. The TAC will use the survey results to formulate recommendations to present during an open house planned for January 2013. TAC will then finalize its recommendations for consideration by Savannah City Council.

Members of the media are asked to call 912-429-3364 to schedule an interview with City of Savannah Tourism Services and Project Administrator Bridget Lidy.
