[ARCHIVED] Forsyth band shell fountain renovation to begin March 9

For Immediate Release
Date: March 3, 2015

The Forsyth Park band shell fountain will undergo a makeover beginning Monday, March 9 to make the feature more interactive and kid-friendly. The project will demolish the existing fountain to make way for an expanded spray pool area for park-goers to enjoy, adding new spray nozzles and plumbing. The project is expected to be completed in four to six weeks.

In a separate project, the playground nearest to the band shell is undergoing necessary maintenance this week and will be closed Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.
