[ARCHIVED] Register to be an Earth Day exhibitor by April 6

For Immediate Release
Date: April 1, 2015

The deadline to register as an exhibitor for this year’s Savannah Earth Day Festival is April 6. Register online at: www.earthdaysavannah.org/exhibitor-registration.html. There are no fees associated with being an exhibitor at this event. Each exhibitor will also be provided with a 10x10 tent, up to 2 tables and 2 chairs. (Additional materials may be available upon request and depending on availability.) This year’s community partner is Well FED, which will be coordinating much of the Festival including handling registration of exhibitors.

The Savannah Earth Day Festival will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Festival will offer exhibitors, workshops, kids activities, food and music in Forsyth Park, next to the Forsyth Farmers Market on the south side of the lawn near the tennis courts. Please note: RecycleRama will not be held the morning of the Earth Day Festival, but will be held at a later date in the fall.

The Earth Day Festival is transitioning out of the Water Resources Department and into the City’s new Sustainability Department. With that move there will be more participation from the community and local organizations, including Art Rise Savannah and the 8th Annual Wheelie Bike Ride hosted by the Savannah Bicycle Campaign. To see the full event schedule, the Earth Day Guide will be published in the April edition of Well FED magazine.
