[ARCHIVED] Youth invited to register for conflict resolution session

A Neighborhood Leadershiping Training Series Event: KEEPING YOUR COOL: Conflict Resolution Strategies for Today’s Youth

Please come join young people from the Savannah Youth Ambassadors program and neighborhood youth group leaders to learn and share information about solving conflicts in style! A breakfast will be provided, and the event is free and open to the public and promises to be fun for all ages!

SESSION INFORMATION

When: Saturday, July 11th, 2015
Where: Savannah Civic Center
Time: 9:30 am – 12:00 pm

Mini- Booth Information Fair and Breakfast start at 9:00 a.m. in the Civic Center Ballroom.

SESSION DESCRIPTIONS

Tearing Down Walls and Building Bridges – The Mediation Center: This construction class will challenge you to tear down walls which limit your future and to build strong bridges that expand your horizon. Come learn how to recognize biases, value differences and grow community.

Attorney General’s Office: Everyone communicates differently…right? We should all be responsible for what we say as we communicate by phone or person-to-person. This class addresses the subject of bullying and texting and will encourage youth to practice positive skills communicating with one another appropriately.
