East 33rd Street Fire Displaces Two
SAVANNAH, GA (Saturday, July 25, 2020) – At 9:58 a.m., Saturday, July 25, the Savannah Fire Department was dispatched to a fire in the 1000 Block of East 33rd Street. Engine 8 was first on scene. They discovered fire in a kitchen dining area and quickly extinguished the blaze before it spread to other parts of the home. No one was physically injured, but the room and its contents were damaged. Power to the structure had to be cut and two people were displaced as a result. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
